Personal Development Tips: Dance In The Rain; Appreciate Life!

in Personal Development

Most of us want to grow into a person that everyone wants to be with. You will hardly hear from someone who would tell you they prefer to be alone if given the option to mingle with others. Sometimes it is a challenge getting along with others especially if you are the type who wouldn’t want to stand back with your opinions and whatnot. Getting along with others is a skill one should cultivate. It is an ability that you should nurture as not everyone is bestowed with a great personality.

People with great personalities are looked up to, but little do we sometimes know that these people possess traits that are not just given to them but we all have access to. It is just a matter of looking at the brighter side of things, knowing when to make our move and putting others before us.

Let us take a look at some of the mantras we have that will help our personal development.

Treat yourself the way you want to be treated

It all starts with the practices you do for yourself. You should start treating yourself the same way you want others to treat you. Vanquish those insecurities and remember that you are beautiful inside out. Your being unique is what sets you apart from the rest and that’s a good thing.

The way you treat yourself is the same way others would likely treat you as you are already creating your standards. Always keep in mind that nobody on earth can love you more than you can love yourself. Be comfortable with what you have and love your body because when you are capable of looking beyond your flaws, you would learn how to love yourself more. This would lead to you not caring what others would say. Their words shouldn’t let you down.

Don’t try to please everyone

It is good that you are able to please someone but be careful not to make an effort to please everyone because that is one step for you to losing your own self. Never seek for acceptance and really push for it as you would likely lose yourself and your luster. There may be others who will always be better than you but that doesn’t mean you are not good.

Never get out of your way to prove yourself to the multitude. Those who really care are capable of seeing the beauty in being just you. Do not overspend your time thinking and caring how others would see you. At the end of the day, what you are to yourself is what will make you go to sleep at night.

You are capable of growing

So you may not be the best person there is yet, but that doesn’t mean you cannot change. You are a junkie and everyone looks at you as if you are the worthless one in the room but that doesn’t mean you can no longer grow and evolve. Never let the viewpoint of others push you further in the rut you are in.

Believe that you are able to outgrow your dark days and that change is always possible. You are bound to evolve and turn into this brilliant person capable of loving not just yourself but others.

Stay positive

You’ve read this a thousand times and it has already sold in the form of the book “The Secret” but there really is truth and benefits from being positive. I say that with certainty. You attract what you think. Never let the bitterness and negativity wear you off.

When the ride gets rough focus on the positive, filter what you think and what to work on. Learn how to respond only to those positive stimuli and build the life you want for yourself.

Appreciate and forgive yourself

This would be a bit of a challenge for those who have encountered failure a thousand times but it pays a lot to know how to appreciate you. Stop putting the blame on yourself and learn to forgive and let go. Forgiving yourself will create wonders and unload you from the anchor of negativity.

When you get to this stage after failing and failing again, it gets easier to see the goodness that failure brought. There is always something worth learning in every fall you make and it’s harder to see it if you are clouded with negativity. Appreciate the effort you have exerted and move on.

Believe in your dreams

People will always laugh at your dreams but cover your ears from their guffaws and believe in your dreams. Work on your goals and stop procrastinating because others are telling you it is impossible. Brilliant minds like da Vinci, Einstein and even Bill Gates encountered a lot of criticisms on their way to success but they learned how to hurdle all those.

Work on your dreams now because you’ll never know if tomorrow will ever come. Never miss the opportunity start shooting at your dreams.

While there are a lot of negative people around us who would pull us down the moment they get their hands on us, believe that your personality will outshine their negativity. They might throw hurtful words at you and it might slow you down but never ever stop and stoop to their level. Keep on moving and show them some kindness, then they will learn that there is no use dwelling in bitterness.

Dance in the rain and appreciate what you have around you. Not everything might turn out the way we want it to be but there is always a reason why some things fall in the picture as they are. Learn how to keep yourself afloat in positivity. Even the biggest and the most positive person there is encounters a bump every now and then but they have learn how to move on and move forward.

:)

Personal development is not something you achieve overnight. It is a process that requires discipline, consistency and conscious effort. And if you are serious about developing yourself, you’d realize that just when you achieve a certain level you would naturally desire for more — that’s proof that you’re growing.

Acquire An Existing Home Business? Why Not?

in Entrepreneurship, Home Business

home businessThe best way to earn your financial freedom other than to win the lottery is to put up your own home business. (Who doesn’t want financial freedom? :D )If you are tired of slaving yourself in the corporate world you might want to venture out into the unknown and see if you can make it by yourself. You have two options in doing this: (1) start from scratch and put up your business or (2) buy an existing one.

While others prefer to be conventional and really shape their business on their own and from zero, there are some who prefer to just buy an entire enterprise. From there they can start becoming the boss of their own and start generating their income. Before you kiss your boss goodbye though, ask yourself the following questions to determine if you are really cut for a home business venture: [click to continue…]

Secrets of the Self-Employed

in Career Tips, Entrepreneurship

One cannot help but feel a little envious of some self-employed individuals. Who wouldn’t be, right? These people get to work at their own pace and in their own volition. They don’t have a nagging boss who would tell them what to do. They don’t have to wake up really early to beat the rush hour. No need to wait for their break time and they only work as hard as they want to as they don’t have someone breathing on their necks every day.

These self-employed individuals are running their own businesses and they only bend their backs working depending on how much money they need. So why can’t we all just be like them: have the flexibility of time, the drive to work depending on how much we need and deviate from the nine-to-five work schedule? [click to continue…]
